In addition, we can certify products as meeting specific standards important for your purposes, such as Kosher, Cosmos-approved, USP-Grade or GMO-free.
Nedstar is ISO 22000 certified by SGS, the world's leading certification company. ISO 22000 is the leading international food safety standard. It lists the requirements for a good food safety management system, including such elements as interactive communication, strong system management and adherence to HACCP principles in order to prevent biological, chemical or physical hazards in production processes that could harm consumers’ health.
Nedstar is ISO 9001 certified by the world's leading certification company SGS. ISO 9001 is the leading international Quality Management System standard. Certified organisations have shown they consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, and achieve continuous improvement driven through, for example, excellent leadership, planning and operations.
All Nedstar extra neutral alcohol products comply with REACH, a regulation issued by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This means they comply with EU regulations regarding the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. REACH is there to protect human health and the environment from the mismanagement of chemicals, including denatured and undenatured ethanol.
Nedstar organic products meet the requirements of the EU organic logo. The logo can only be used on products certified as organic by an EU-authorised agency. They must meet strict criteria for production, processing, transportation and storage. Using the logo on products makes it easy for consumers across the EU to identify your product as genuinely organic.
Nedstar can supply your product with kosher certification from a recognised kosher certification agency. This guarantees your product complies with the orthodox Jewish standards of kashrut (Jewish religious dietary law) in terms of ingredients and production processes.
Nedstar can provide your product with GMO-free certification. A genetically modified organism (GMO) has been genetically engineered to create gene combinations that don’t occur in nature. A GMO-free product contains no GMOs or genetically engineered DNA.
Nedstar offers products that are USP (US Pharmacopeia), BP (British Pharmacopoeia), EP (European Pharmacopoeia), and JP (Japanese Pharmacopoeia) grade. A product that is approved as pharmaceutical-grade by these bodies meets or exceeds pharmaceutical grade standards and can be used in food, drugs or medicinal products in those countries, as well as for most lab purposes.
Nedstar supplies products that are certified as USDA-Organic and have been produced according to the standards of the USDA-NOP (US Dept. of Agriculture National Organic Program). This means they avoid, for example, synthetic fertilisers and genetic engineering, and use practices that foster the cycling of resources, promote ecological balance and conserve biodiversity.
Nedstar complies with the standards supported and promoted by IFOAM Organics Europe, which is the European branch of an umbrella organisation for the organic food and farming sector. IFOAM promotes and works towards complying with the principles of organic agriculture — health, ecology, fairness and care — throughout the organic food chain.
Nedstar can provide SKAL certification for your agricultural products. Skal is an independent EU-certified foundation set up by the Dutch government that controls and supervises organic production in the Netherlands. Skal’s EKO quality mark confirms that a product complies with Dutch and EU regulations for organic production.
Nedstar products are processed following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for human and veterinary medicines. GMP describes the standards manufacturers must meet in their production processes. Monitoring and inspections are carried out by the European Medicines Agency.
