Barge vessel

Up to 2,450 tonnes

Nedstar offers to ship your ethanol products with various types of vessels. Overseas, we utilize bulk and container cargo for the largest amounts of bulk ethanol, with complementary services over road- and railway. Our logistical experts are also specialised in intermodal freight transport, meaning the transportation of freight in a container that can be loaded on multiple modes of transportation, without any handling of the freight itself when changing modes. Next to being more sustainable, this type of distribution safes time and reduces the risk of contaminating the product.

Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC)

1,000 litres

Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) are industrial-grade containers for the mass transport of liquids, semi-solids, pastes, and solids. Nedstar's IBCs have a capacity of 1,000 litres and are the perfect choice for smaller quantities of bulk alcohol. Next to being reusable, IBCs are also designed to be stacked, meaning an efficient use of shipping room and a high level of organization and mobility.

Drums

205, 237.5, 250 litres

Drums are commonly used in shipping cargo of liquids and powders. Drums are reusable, often stackable and designed for efficient warehouse and logistics use. Nedstar's drums are made out of sturdy HDPE plastic and have a capacity of 205, 237.5, or 250 litres that are usually shipped in 20 to 40-foot dry containers. Drums are very easy to handle and are therefore ideal for customers who want to stock their products without a storage tank.
