Based in Amsterdam, you'll be expected to travel 20-30% of the time to meet with customers and suppliers in the Middle-East.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Maintaining and strengthening business ties with existing customers and suppliers in your target markets.
  • Identifying and pursuing new leads in the Middle-East and beyond.
  • Contributing to our commercial team's efforts in achieving Nedstar’s commercial targets, enhancing our market position, and exploring new market segments.
  • Collaborating with our logistics team to ensure the efficient delivery of ethanol products to your customers.

Your profile

As a Commercial Manager at Nedstar, you are a visionary thinker and dynamic initiator, always on the lookout for new business opportunities to enhance and expand our market footprint in the Middle-East. You are goal-oriented, ambitious, and committed to exceeding both your own and Nedstar’s objectives. Traveling is a passion, and you thrive in an informal yet dynamic international B2B trade environment. You have excellent social intelligence and communication skills, making you adept at building lasting relationships and successfully closing deals.

What we are looking for

  • Proficiency in English, with Arabic or other regional languages being an advantage.
  • Relevant prior experience in a commercial setting.
  • Strong skills in numeracy and abstract thinking.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Analytical, meticulous, and precise.
  • Adaptable and personable, capable of forging and maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Team-oriented mindset.

What is in it for you?

  • Diverse developmental and learning opportunities, including language courses, training, and coaching.
  • A competitive salary package with comprehensive benefits, reflecting our commitment to valuing our team members.
  • Experienced and enthusiastic colleagues ready to support and guide you.
  • An open, friendly, and enjoyable company culture.
  • Regular team activities, including boat trips, padel tournaments, and annual company trips.
  • Flexible working hours to promote a healthy work-life balance.
